Greetings from the Caribbean!!

Hello everyone...Janice and I are on a HUGE cruise ship, right outside Grand Cayman!

Remember when we went to Utah for the QuicKutz retailer's event in October? Well, at the end of that event, they chose one grand winner to go on a cruise sponsored by Scrap Map. Well...Janice WON! Can you believe it??? My dad volunteered to give up his spot for me because it is a SCRAPBOOKING cruise!!

It's called the Ultimate Cruise, and there is an AMAZING set of instructors on board...Donna Downey, Heidi Swapp, Karen Russell (designer for Creative Imaginations), Theresa Collins and Margie Romney-Aslett (creative director for Making Memories). WOW!! So, not only do we get to cruise for 6 days, but we get to take classes from these amazingly talented ladies!

In Key West, I parasailed (mom chickened out and took the trolley tour!) and today we swim with the stingrays. I wish you were all here with us!

I must say, it's so very nice to get away. I miss my children and husband, but it's so very relaxing because I only have to take care of ME. In fact, I have an online date with the kids before school this morning, so I need to wrap this up.

We will be bringing back some amazing projects to share with all of you. And...the best part...we've seen some of the new product being introduced at CHA later this month. You are going to LOVE it!

Wednesdays in January

You asked, and we listened!

Beach Scrapbooks will be opening an hour earlier EVERY Wednesday in January. This way, you'll be able to drop the kids off at school and come shop and/or crop!

Our new hours for January will be:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Wednesday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Friday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. (midnight for croppers)

Saturday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Sunday: 12 - 5 p.m.

Hump Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day

Do you keep losing track of the days? With all the holidays, I can't figure out whether it's a Monday or a Friday!

Tomorrow is Wednesday and that means it's Hump Day. Since we'll be closing early, we won't have our usual Hump Day Happy Hour. HOWEVER...we will have new, $5 kits available starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday!

Wednesday is also New Year's Eve - we'll be open until 4 p.m. so please plan accordingly.

Also, remember that we are open for a FREE crop on January 1st. The last time I looked at the list, I think we were up to 11 people. If you'd like to join us, give us a call! It's totally free and a wonderful way to start 2009!

QuicKutz arriving on Friday!

The UPS man is scheduled to deliver our Elegant Essentials on Friday! Woo hoo!

There are already several "reservations" in the book for these dies. If you want to reserve one or more of the shapes, please call the store ASAP!

Also, stay tuned for the next QuicKutz release on Tuesday, January 6th. (I know, it seems very close, but remember that Elegant Essentials was held up in customs.)

Christmas Eve Hump Day

We will be closing early on Christmas Eve. Our hours will be 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.



Having said that, there will be NO Happy Hour Hump Day. However...we have put together a FABULOUS kit for you to take home :) And, it's still only $5!

There's a limited supply of kits available, so come in early to make sure you get yours. They will be available when we open at 10 a.m., and when they're gone...they're gone!
