We have two options for the kiddos this summer!

Melissa is teaching a Crafty Kids Camp on August 8, 9 and 10.



Anna is teaching Art Camp on August 15, 16 and 17.



Both sessions run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and cost $25 per day OR $65 for all three days. The projects are ADORABLE and your kids are gonna love it!

Kid's Camp in August

We're excited to announce that there will be TWO art camps for kids next month at Beach Scrapbooks.

The first session (August 8-10) will be taught by Melissa...the second (August 15-17) by Anna.

The sessions are $65 per week OR $25 per class...this way, you can sign up for all three days each week or choose the days that fit your schedule.

I will tell you though...the projects sound AWESOME, and I know your child will want to be there EVERY day!!

The $10 Unibind Class

Celebrate June with a Unibind class!

Treat yourself to a fun-filled class with Ken Oliver from Unibind. (Some of you may remember him from SCRAP-A-GANZA.) For those that don't know, Unibind is a fabulous little machine that binds together your own books in a matter of minutes. Come check it out and leave with an 8x8 album that's ready for all your summer pictures.

Advanced Silhouette: Print & Cut Feature












Have you ever had that perfect embellishment but wanted more than one?
Or thought that the sticker was cute but wished that it was ten inches tall?
Or maybe you would love to have twenty or thirty identical embellishments for a project? With the silhouette print and cut feature these are all possibilities!

This feature allows you to print images on your home printer and then the machine will cut around them for you. Scrapbook page embellishments, cupcake decorations, valentines...the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. During this class, I will cover this topic and we will practice the print and cut feature so that you can make your own creations at home.

When: Tuesday, May 31st from 6:30-8:00 pm
Cost: $10.00 if you purchased your machine at Beach Scrapbooks, $18.00 if you purchased it elsewhere.
Supplies needed: your laptop (with the silhouette software loaded and updated) and silhouette machine.

An Intro to Digital Photo Editing Basics!

Ever wonder why other people's photos look so sharp while yours are just *okay*? That's because many people do a little "touching up" to their photos before they are ever seen in public. Now...you can learn the same techniques!

We've put together a basic introduction class to editing your photos with Photoshop Elements (this is a free trial program so you can try before you buy - see store for details). If you’ve always wanted to know how to improve your digital photos, but have been a little scared to try, then this class is for you! And...if you have played a little with Photoshop but want to learn more, you will also love this class!
























PhotoMojo is brought to you by Jodie Lee - you may have met her in our store for National Scrapbook Day. She's a graphic designer and photographer with 20 years experience using Photoshop. Jodie is from Australia but now lives in Virginia Beach. She has designed several scrapbook collections for Bo Bunny and Pink Paislee.

The class includes TWO, 2-hour sessions (May 28th AND June 4th). This gives you time in between classes to play and apply the skills you've learned.

Need a last minute Valentine's day present?

Come this Saturday and make an adorable mini album for someone special! A child, spouse, parent or friend would LOVE to have this album made just for them! We will use a Crate Paper line that isn't too girly so this would make a great gift that can be enjoyed by anyone all year long.

Join in on the fun this Saturday from 11 -12:30. Cost is $25.00. The only supplies you need to bring are a paper trimmer, adhesive and six to ten photos of you and your special someone!

A great class for Copic beginners and beyond!
November 14th

Learn how to create these pretty cards using a Copic 1-step technique and some very simple blending. You will also learn a few more special effects “tricks” to give your card a crisp, dimensional look. We will finish a total of 5 cards (envelopes included!) Each student will receive a 6th card full of “Petals” as a thank you gift from Jacque for signing up!




Class kits come fully cut n' ready and include all embellishments you see on the class display. Please come visit the store to see the samples up-close!

Calling all Cricuteers!

Come join us for the first Tidewater Cricut Club meeting. The first meeting will be a very informal meet and greet to find out what area Cricut crafters would like to learn to make the best use of their Cricut machine.

Are there buttons on your machine that you do not understand and are afraid to push? Have you not even taken your machine out of the box? We can share information, ideas and techniques.

The meeting will be hosted by Barry and is expected to last about an hour and a half to two hours (depending on our discussions). This meeting is more of an information gathering session, so there will NOT be a class fee.

Please bring paper and pencil for notes.
