Did you know that there were more ways to use a stamp pad than to just press a stamp to it?

How about window pane? DTP? Generation Stamping?

This class will show you the basics of stamping with acrylics (and other things too!) There are so many techniques out there, this class will touch on just a few of them, then continue each month with new techniques.

July Kid's Camp

August Kid's Camp

Ages: 7-15
Cost: $95.00 *

* The cost of the camp includes any papers, embelishments, and books needed for the projects! The students will need to bring a 12X12 timmer, 2 adhesive runners and scissors. They can either bring pictures to add during class, or add them later.

Creative Cardstock: Patriotic Theme

Can't find paper to match your pictures occasionally? I know I can't! That's why I've started using cardstock and Quickutz to make my own designs!

This month's theme is, of course, patriotic. You can use this layout for Memorial Day, 4th of July, a visit to Washington DC or any military occasion. Customize your title in class to fit the theme of your pictures!

You bring: your paper trimmer, Quickutz Squeeze and star icon die (RS-0562) (both optional if you don't have them), scrapbooking adhesive, Xyron X, glue pen, tweezers, a see-through ruler and your photos. Check out the layout above to help you decide what kind of photos to bring (four 4x6 horizontal). And if you're still not sure which pictures you'd like to use, bring in a whole set and we can figure it out as we go. The best thing about scrapbooking is that there are no rules.

Birthday Crop

What a fun day we had yesterday...lots of good cropping, yummy food, belly laughs and delicious birthday cake! Thanks to everyone for celebrating our 1st birthday with us (especially those who ventured out in the pouring rain!).

Several of you asked for the Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe...here goes:

-Spread 1 package of softened cream cheese on the bottom of a pie plate (I used lowfat)
-Pour 1/2 cup blue cheese or ranch dressing on top (I used lowfat blue cheese)
-Boil 2 large chicken breasts with garlic
-Shred the chicken and mix with 8 oz. can of tomato sauce, 1/2 cup hot sauce and 1/2 stick melted butter (I didn't have the tomato sauce so I substituted a can of tomato soup)
-Pour chicken mix on top of dressing
-Sprinkle 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese
-Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
-Serve with Triscuits or Panitini Toast (something heavy to support the thick dip)
