You had to be a BIG SHOT, didn't ya...
Have you seen this little sucker?!? It's called the Big Shot Express by Sizzix, and it's ELECTRIC! A die cutting machine that cuts dies with the push of a single button...woo hoo!
We've had so many women tell us that they physically CAN'T crank the Epic or a Revolution because of arthritis, carpal tunnel, etc. Well...here's the answer! Simply put the die/dies in, push the button and the rest is history.
The best part of all...it cuts all Sizzix size dies AND QuicKutz dies!!
We've sold out of our first shipment already but are getting ready to place a re-order. If you'd like to see this baby in action, come by and we'd be glad to demo it for you!
We have a few of the regular Big Shot machines in-stock as well (it looks the same as the one pictured here but has a crank tool instead of a plug).
P.S. The Big Shot Express would make a GREAT Christmas present!

Eye Candy
Since it's almost Halloween, I thought I'd give out some EYE CANDY! Here are a few projects we have displayed on our front table...
First up is mine :) I absolutley LOVE the new 7Gypsies ATC/Photo Display Holder. I printed out pictures of my kids in costumes from previous Halloweens (is HALLOWEENS even a word?!?). Anyway, this would make a GREAT Christmas gift for grandparents. Give them one for Christmas and then send new pictures throughout the year for them to display. Another customer is using hers to make a recipe display...can't wait to see it!
Michelle made this cute frame using shapes from her Silhouette...LOVE that tree! Paper is by Basic Grey.
Melissa made this adorable little mini album using a Maya Road chipboard album, Maya Mist spray and My Mind's Eye Halloween paper. If you like chipboard, then you will LOVE the Maya Mist. It covers the chipboard with one coat and drys in minutes. Seriously, it is amazing.
Michelle also made this cute, little candy holder. She had some random cardboard rolls laying around her house and decided to jazz 'em up. Interestingly enough, there was WAY more candy in this when she first displayed it! Who's been eating the chocolate?!?! Paper and brads are from My Mind's Eye.
Jody put together this SPOOKY banner using the Little Yellow Bicycle Halloween paper and letters from her Silhouette. If you turn over the circles, SPOOKY turns into BEWARE!
Next up is a fabulous layout by Janice. She used a combination of papers, by Basic Grey and Reminisce, together with her QuicKutz dies to create a spooky, Halloween layout. Where did she get that giant haunted house? She took the QuicKutz haunted house die and enlarged it on the copy machine. Then, she simply cut it out of black Bazzill!
The next two cards were made by the oh-so-talented Barry, featuring the My Mind's Eye Halloween collection. If you took his card class a few weeks ago, these will look familiar to you :)

Got Mod Podge and scraps laying around the house? Then copy Susan and made a super cute pumpkin! Top it off with a ring of leaves, cut out with the QuicKutz leaves die.
And last, but certainly not least, is a spooky candle to help light the way. Linda used her QuicKutz to cut out the haunted house and tree, bats and starry night border (around the top) to create this one-of-a-kind candle display. That Linda is so bright! (Get it, bright...candle...hahaha!)
Again, these are only a sampling of what's on display. Come in, be INSPIRED and CREATE something exciting during these dreary, rainy days :)
Have a GREAT weekend!

BRAS for the CAUSE!
First, a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in Scrap Pink, donated a bra and/or voted for their favorite bra! We've had LOTS of comments on the bras...especially from the men who come in with their wives :)
Before the winner is announced, I wanted to show off our beautiful new t-shirts. They were designed by our staff, and a portion of the proceeds goes towards our Scrap Pink donation. We've got all sizes in stock from S to 3X. If you're walking/running the Race for the Cure this weekend, it would be a great shirt to wear :) Only $15.
Without futher adieu, let's announce the winner for BRAS for the CAUSE...CARMELLA!!! Woo hoo!! Beautiful swans :) Carmella, come on in and pick up your HOT new pink Bo-Bunny bag!
And, for those who voted, you know there were some pretty SWEET bras on display. I've included them here for all to see!
The bra above is from Alex, who lives in Northern Virginia (some of you may remember her from our Beach Retreat last year). She actually sewed this bra, and it is simply amazing. I didn't get the best picture, but it reads "Lift up your spirits." GREAT job, Alex, and thanks for sending it in!
The next bra probably received the most laughs out of them all...it's the 'Over-The-Shoulder-Boulder-Holder' by Mary. You may not be able to see it in the pictures, but it's covered with little rocks. HOWEVER, someone commented that it reminded them of a nutty buddy. Now, whenever I walk by the Boulder-Holder, I develop a sudden urge to eat ice cream!!
Thanks to EVERYONE for participating in such an important event. And...good luck to all who are walking/racing for a CURE this weekend at the oceanfront!

New from October Afternoon and Little Yellow Bicycle!
Still have pictures that need to be scrapped from the first day of school? OR, what about when YOU were in school? October Afternoon has introduced a beautiful new, throw back line that brings back the school memories from yester year. A perfect collection for your kids, YOU, your parents and everyone in between!
To answer many of the phone calls we've been receiving lately, the Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas collection has arrived. We are pleased to present the 25 Days of Christmas! Below is a sampling...come in the store to see more. Plus, the paper is much prettier in person :)
